HOW I Went FLYING in my SQUIRREL SUIT! (Please do not attempt to replicate)
Before I go into the HOW, let’s talk about this flying squirrel suit. I collect onesie pajamas and each Christmas my daughter gifts me a new one. I have a lion, bunny rabbit, elephant, olaf the snowman and such. And, of course, I have a flying squirrel!
And please, do not attempt to replicate my flight as I do not want any more injuries to occur!
Now that you know about all the different outfits that I have, let’s get back to how I flew in the flying squirrel outfit.
I love all my onesies and they help me stay warm at night especially since we have cats that L O V E to go in and out of the house during the night. Putting in a cat door is out of the question otherwise all the hunting trophies would end up inside the house……even the ones that are still alive. We have one cat that will come and wake me up, you know, the tapping of the paw on your face! And the other is so old, almost 19 years old, that I do not always hear him when he meows to go outside.
So as I get my morning started, I have this routine drink to start my day. Very simple recipe that I have been drinking for years (in a 24 oz cup, juice from a lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, a matcha energizing pomegranate tea, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, a scoop of hydrating lemon-lime performance and the rest is all water) that I drink first thing in the morning before any other drink or food.
And here I was getting my drink ready. Needed to get more of the matcha energizing tea from the cabinet and as I walked over, I went flying feet first! I mean F L Y I N G ! ! ! It would have been fun (afterwards) to see it all happen in slow motion.
I come around the corner and my foot slipped on something that was on the hardwood floor. I was holding my big cup in my left hand. I already had some water in it which went in all sorts of directions. As my body twists, my right bum cheek makes solid contact and not wanting to smack my head on the hard floor, I put my elbow out to brace myself.
Yeah! That worked! I did not hit my head.
Now, however, that move did cause some damage to the shoulder and with the adrenaline of the moment, did not notice right away.
By the very next day, I could not lift my 24 oz cup! Each time I did any movement that involved
my shoulder, the pain was a great reminder of my flying experience. And each time, I would tense up which is the opposite of what is needed for healing.
That is where the Joint & Muscle Pain Cream came in so handy. It came with me everywhere. I massaged the shoulder area, which was painful to the touch and reapplied the cream as soon as the pain relief effect started to wear off.
Each time I massage the shoulder, I could feel the tissue changing little by little. At first, it felt like a knot. Then little by little, it felt like what I think tenderized meat feels like (I don’t know….I’m vegetarian and seeing meat getting tenderized on some cooking shows made me think that it was the same mushy feeling as my shoulder.). Now, it is at the point of being sore without being painful and range of motion is back.
I am so glad that I had the Joint & Muscle Pain Cream on hand. It is a must-have for any home.
Make tomorrow amazing….. It starts with You today! Marie-anne A.K.A. Mom
