Preparing for the transition

Will I ever get used to this?  Well, this is our youngest so this is the last round or preparation!

I am getting flashbacks to getting things prepared for when our daughter was going to go off to college.  Being very well organized, we didn’t have much to help her with.  It was more of the transportation to get there, collect all her boxes she had sent ahead of time to someone that she knew lived close to her new school and taking them all to her dorm on move-in-day.

One of those boxes were filled with Shaklee goodies.  That was one thing I could easily help with.

I had handed her our product catalog and asked her to circle everything she would be happy to get if she had no spending limit.  So she circled, circled and circled items in the whole catalog….nutrition, personal care, cleaning products, etc.

When the time came for us to fly all the way across to the other side of the country to collect all the boxes that had been shipped ahead of time and get them to her dorm…..there was also a nicely full Shaklee box.

As we got the boxes up to her dorm and broke them down so she could organize her room, her

way…..we got to the box of Shaklee goodness ? She had things to keep her going on a daily basis, especially for those long days of studying and possible all-nighters of homework.

  • Vita-Lea for her daily mutli-vitamin

  • Performance to stay hydrated when she does her workout or simply if it’s a super hot day and the dorm rooms get pretty darn hot

  • Energy Chews to support energy levels and alertness with green tea and B-Vitamins

  • Mighty Smart for brain support.

Moving into the dorms is the same as to moving into a new home. There will be plenty of days with cleaning and laundry that needs to be done so we also got to unpack the

  • Fresh Laundry which HE compatible

  • the Soft Fabric dryer sheets that are made of plant fibers and completely composteable and then

  • Basic-H wipes for when a quite wipe-up-clean-up is needed and then the wipe can be tossed in the white paper recycling bin!

Her stash of personal care goodies……..

And lastly, we had to make sure that she had all she wanted for personal care with the Shaklee goodies we unpacked. After all, what goes on the body is just as important as what goes in the body……especially since we know how much toxins get absorbed by our skin simply from day to day living. So, of course, we got to unpack her

  • the skin care line which we have now revamped and is called Youth instead of Enfuselle…….which……if you haven’t tried yet this Fantasmic, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Beyond Organic skin care…… You Are Missing Out On Something Incredible!

Having the catalog with all her preferences, does make it simple for sending surprise care packages or to replenish anything she wants without having to ask her again with flavors she likes or which size of product, etc.

I can hardly believe that it is time to do that with our youngest…..time to give him a product catalog and have him circle, circle and circle everything he would get if there was no spending limit!

And, when we saw the size of the dorm rooms and how much storage space each student has……which is barely any…….I couldn’t help but think of how awesome it is that we have a business we can run from anywhere and we do not stock any inventory so even a college student can do it from his or her phone/computer!

Got someone that will be going off to college?  Now is the time to get their preferences so we can plan the care package they will love to unpack when they get settled into the dorm.

I am getting extra catalogs in about a month…..let me know if I can send you one for your college or university bound student!

Make tomorrow amazing….. It starts with You today!
